We went to eat at Casa Ole last night with George and Kendra. Lani and George decided to be silly with their straw. Too cute!

ABC's

Lani was trying to sing her ABC's for me this weekend. She added her own little twist. At the end it is: WX Robbi (instead of YZ) Ha ha! I thought that was so cute.

Chistmas Projects

If you notice in the top picture, Lani has paint on her nose. Ha ha! She has made a lot of BEAUTIFUL Christmas crafts. In the bottom picture she has on antlers made out of her hand prints. It says "Lani the Reindeer"

Introducing Miss Claire

Lani just loves "her" Claire Bear! I think she's been getting plenty of practice watching Ms. Tracy change Claire's diapers. One morning on the way there she asked me for a wipe. When I realized she was wiping her Dora doll she said "She pooped again!" And then proceeded to ask me for a diaper. Girls and their babies are so much fun.

The Park

Lani enjoys going to the park with Ms. Tracy and Claire. She even made a few friends there.

Lots of Learning Going On

Above Lani is matching her colors. She got them all right. She wanted to play this game over and over.

Here she is grouping items: sticks, leaves, acorns and rocks. She did a good job with this too. (She gets her smarts from her momma. j/k)

She is learning all about fall. Lani made her very own leaf man. He's such a handsome guy.

Lani's First Day

Our baby girl, who isn't so much of a baby anymore, started a new "school" yesterday. She loves it! She got to make things with play dough and do all kinds of arts and crafts. She came home with a handful of creations; from a tree she made out of a paper plate and toilet paper roll to this beautiful pecan rolling art work. Isn't it a masterpiece? I'm so proud...

Decoration time

I even had time to put the Christmas decorations up this past weekend. Tigger (pictured above) loves to take his naps under the tree. Lily (another cat) does not like my Santa Clause and pounces on him whenever she gets the chance. Crazy cats!

Thanksgiving

Our little family had a peaceful Thanksgiving weekend filled with warm fires, naps, games, eating and movie watching. We enjoyed our time together and had a lot to be thankful for.

Cheap Playhouse

Isn't it amazing at what kids will play with? You buy them all kinds of toys and yet they would rather play with stuff they aren't suppose to or a box. Lani made herself a little playhouse out of this box. She got the idea from the cat, though.

Bath time is fun!

Lani loves bath time. Sometimes she tells ME when it's time to take a bath and sometimes she wants to take several a day. When we share bath time, she thinks mom is her personal lounge chair and lays down on me. She's a mess...

New Addition to the Family

We have a new addition to the family. He's cute and furry and he's a cat. He was at a busy intersection and came right to my car. Lani absolutely loves him and he actually lets her love on him. He's a sweety! Oh and we named him Tigger.

Halloween Skate Party

Every year Texas Farm Bureau has a Halloween skate party for the employees and their families. We went last night and Lani had a fun time. She wouldn't skate, but she ran around that floor like she owned the place. :-)

Heart of Texas Fair & Rodeo

We took a little family outting to the fair Friday night. Lani had so much fun! She was so quiet because she was trying to take it all in. She rode a real horse and was not scared at all. As soon as we get the video uploaded from Phillip's phone I will post it. She also fed the animals in the petting zoo. She even got to dance with her daddy to Tracy Lawrence. All the fun wore her out. We barely got down the road from the fair and she was out!

New Phone

Phillip got a new phone. We had to play around with the camera a little after he got it. That's what you do with a new phone, right? In doing so, we got this beautiful picture of father and daughter.
