Playhouse Disney Live

Lani and I had a date Saturday to see Playhouse Disney Live! We got to see the Super Slouths (Tigger, Pooh and Darby), Little Einsteins, Handy Manny, Mickey and Minnie, Donald and Goofy. I hope Lani enjoyed it as much as I did. :-)

Christmas Program

Lani was in her first "school" Christmas program yesterday. She did a great job singing. They sang the B-I-B-L-E song and Happy Birthday Jesus. I think I may have been more excited about the whole thing than she was. ;-)

Corpus Christi

Well I survived another Texas Farm Bureau State Convention. We left at 8 a.m. Friday morning for Corpus Christi. This is the view I had from my room. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun. I was very glad to get home on Monday night. It was a great get-a-way, but it made me appreciate my family too. I think they appreciate me a little more also. Ha ha! Lani and Daddy had a lot of bonding time together. He is such a great father and husband and took care of everything while I was gone. I am blessed to be able to rely on him during these times. Thanks Baby!

2 Months Old

Zoey is two months old now. Look at that smile!

Lani the Pirate

Doesn't my little "pirate" look vicious with her Hannah Montana pajama pants on her head?

Thanksgiving 2008

Lani and Daddy showin "Hook 'em Horns!"

I hope everyone had an awesome Thanksgiving and was blessed to be around family as we were. My aunt, uncle and grandma came up for the first time in a long time. It was so nice to have my family together again. I am so blessed...

Christmas on the Farm

Phillip had a great idea when he suggested we go to Christmas on the Farm at the Bell County Expo Center. Lani had a great time. My lady bug got a lady bug painted on her face. She had her nails painted. She got to decorate a ginger bread ornament and got a heart shaped balloon from the clown. It was a wonderful family day!

Yet Still Too Short

Even though she's growing, regular length pants are still too long for my lady bug. I hemmed these pants by hand. Go me!

Getting Tall

Just six months ago, when Lani got her swing, she couldn't reach the handle bars, but now she can. She is getting so big....

Trick or Treat

Zoey and Lani had a great time getting a bunch of candy. I think Lani could've made herself sick if we hadn't stopped her from eating it all in one night.

Halloween Skate Party

Yay, she skated!

My lil Tinkerbell!

It is that time of year again. I believe Lani had more fun at my work's skating party this year since she skated. Last year she wouldn't even put the skates on. Now when I say skated, it was mostly Kendra and I dragging her and doing all the work. Hee hee! Doesn't she make the cutest Tinkerbell?

So grown...

We went out to eat saturday night and I put lani's jeans on. (top picture) She just looked so grown up to me. She's ready for church in the bottom picture. Mi Mi bought her the new dress.

Lani had so much fun at Ethan's birthday party! (me too! ha ha)He had it at Jumping Party where they have like 6 big bouncies with slides and mazes. Even some of the adults, including Kendra and I, went through them. It was our first time there and I hope we get to go back again!

Fair Time!

Phillip and I took Lani to the Heart O' Texas Fair & Rodeo on Friday night. She enjoyed seeing the horses during the rodeo. In the bottom picture she was a little overwhelmed when all the animals at the petting zoo were trying to get the feed out of her hand. She still had a great time!

The Ducks

Kendra, George, Lani and I went to feed the ducks Friday evening. This is only Lani and I's second time doing it and the ducks were everywhere this time. I felt overwhelmed. They were coming from across the river, behind us and from all angles. The pictures do not do them justice. They must've been very hungry. They would even take the bread right out of our hands. Kendra and Lani each got bit, but it didn't hurt them. All and all, we had a great time!

Build-a-Bear Workshop

Lani had her first experience at the new Build-a-Bear Workshop in our mall. My mom took her as a "prize" for being a big girl and sleeping in her own bed. Us girls had so much fun spending time together!

Hurricane Ike Day

We hung out at the mall while we caught the very outter edge of Ike. Glory be to God that it was not bad here. We had some rain and wind, but no damage or power outtages. When we walked in the door of the mall, there was this HUGE Baylor Bear sitting there. We could not resist taking pictures with it. Ha ha. Lani also enjoyed riding on the little rides and playing video games with George. It turned out to be a fun day inside!

She just keeps on growing...
