Catching Bubbles

Lani's sitter takes her to Story Time at the local library. There they play and sing with a parachute, play with bubbles, dance and have a great time. As you can tell by the pictures, Lani really enjoys it! Thanks Ms. Tracy!!

Waco Water Park

Sunday Mom and I took Lani and Kenzie to the water park. I have a little water bug on my hands. Lani LOVES the water. She would go up and down the kiddie slide by herself. I have to watch her because she's just a little too brave sometimes. We definitely have a swimmer on our hands. It was a blast and a fun "girls" day out.

Chik-fil-a Cow

Last week we went to eat at Chik-fil-a when the cow was there. Lani didn't really want to touch it at first, but eventually warmed up to him. She kept calling it "the easter bunny." I'm assuming she thinks all oversized stuffed animals are the easter bunny after her scare with the bunny this past year. Ha ha. She's getting more brave, though... Watch out!

We had a great time at the Fort Worth Zoo on Sunday. We even got Lani to ride the choo choo train. She was a little scared before we got on, but soon realized it was fun.

Company Picnic

My work had a company picnic for the employees and their families. Lani and I went alone because everyone else was either working or out of town. We had fun though. Lani went in this big blow up thing that was more for older kids. Thankfully one of my co-worker's offered for Lani to go with her granddaughter. Here Lani is sliding down! The thing was HUGE! She also went into the jumping one for the littler kids and refused to leave. Lets just say she wore herself and her mom out, all in good fun.

5 Years! Yay!!

This Saturday (May 17th) marks Phillip and I's 5 year wedding anniversary. I am so thankful for the miracle God has done in our marriage. I am so blessed to be able to share my anniversary with the man of my dreams and our little angel God has put in our lives. We are heading to Fort Worth tomorrow for some good eating, a night away and then the zoo on Sunday. Can't wait! We decided to share this time as a family, so yes Lani gets to go too. :-) Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
