The Ducks

Kendra, George, Lani and I went to feed the ducks Friday evening. This is only Lani and I's second time doing it and the ducks were everywhere this time. I felt overwhelmed. They were coming from across the river, behind us and from all angles. The pictures do not do them justice. They must've been very hungry. They would even take the bread right out of our hands. Kendra and Lani each got bit, but it didn't hurt them. All and all, we had a great time!

Build-a-Bear Workshop

Lani had her first experience at the new Build-a-Bear Workshop in our mall. My mom took her as a "prize" for being a big girl and sleeping in her own bed. Us girls had so much fun spending time together!

Hurricane Ike Day

We hung out at the mall while we caught the very outter edge of Ike. Glory be to God that it was not bad here. We had some rain and wind, but no damage or power outtages. When we walked in the door of the mall, there was this HUGE Baylor Bear sitting there. We could not resist taking pictures with it. Ha ha. Lani also enjoyed riding on the little rides and playing video games with George. It turned out to be a fun day inside!

Simone

One day I was doing the clothes and Simone just decided to jump on in the dryer and lay down like it was nothing. She eventually made her way to the washer too. She wasn't as comfortable with the washer and looked scared, but she just had to see what was inside. Nosy Rosie!

Hoodie

Lani's teacher was so impressed with her yesterday. Nearly all the kids had a bad day yesterday and had their smiley faces taken away except Lani. She said it must have been the hoodie! ha ha!

Baylor Game

She had a gold paw print on her face, but I guess it started to itch and she scratched it off

We took Lani to her first Baylor Bears Game. She had so much fun. She really enjoyed the band and kept asking for them to "do it again." It was great family fun! Oh and the Bears won 51-6! Go Bears!

Bowling

We went bowling with a group of people from church on Sunday night. We all had a blast, but I think Lani had the most fun. :-)
