Since Lani finally started sleeping in her own room at the beginning of the school year, we decided to get her a full size bed. She's really enjoying it!

Sept 25 - Franny's B-day

We really did go out for Franny's b-day. We got all dressed up and went to Dallas to eat at Pappadeaux's. Then we drove over to Dave and Buster's to play games. It was a great night out, kid free!! Woo hoo! We sang our hearts out while the guys were trying to figure out how to get over the river. Ha Ha!

The next day we went to the Zoo, minus the men who had to work. We had fun with the kiddos. But did you know there are no mesquitos at the zoo? At least that's what Franny claims. ha ha

I'm way behind on some of my blogging. Back is September we went to a China Spring football game with our friends, Thomas and Franny and their kiddos, Chase & Tom Tom! We had such a good time besides the mesquitos and sweating ;-)

We had a wonderful Christmas! We are so blessed!!!! I didn't get many pictures with my camera, so I'll upload more as I get them.

Yesterday my baby girl started school for the first time. She did so well. She shyly gave mom and dad a hug and sat down and started coloring. Dad and I both teared up walking away from her classroom. We couldn't wait for her to get home so we could here how her day was. Her favorite part was riding the bus. ha ha. I really started crying when I saw her come off that bus. So big... Thank goodness for sunglasses!

She also reached another milestone this week. She has slept in her own room for the past two nights. She didn't fuss or cry. We are so very proud of her. The first night mom didn't sleep a wink.

We attended a beautiful wedding Friday night. At the reception there was a table set up for people to take funny pictures. This is what we came up with.

5 years already :-(

It is still hard for me to fathom that my baby will be 5 tomorrow. Where has the time gone? We had her party last friday and she got the Hanah Montana guitar and mic. She was serenading the neighborhood. LOL

She also got this outfit for her b-day.

Easter Hunt

My work had its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday. Lani had fun and met a new friend.

Zoo Time

One morning last week Lani asked if we could go to the zoo after work. Thankfully, she settled for Saturday if weather permitted. We asked Lani's partner in crime, Ethan, and family to come along. It turned out to be a great day to go. We had a lot of fun!
